The Atlanta Anti-Repression Committee (AARC) is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to the political defense of protesters.

Since May 26, 2020, over 23 million people have joined protests in response to the police killings of George Floyd Jr., Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks, Elijah McClain and dozens more. In this historic struggle, over 20,000 people have been selected as targets for repression and arrest. Over 800 of those people live in Metro Atlanta.

We seek to uplift the voices of the accused, to counter myths and false narratives advanced by news media and state agencies, and to sustain momentum for anti-repression efforts.

Black lives still matter.
